The Friend of County Agent Award is an award sponsored by GACAA to recognize
the contributions made by non GACAA members to the University of Georgia Extension Service
and to agriculture

Our objective is to provide recognition of outstanding accomplishments by
GACAA members.
GACAA offers over 30 different award opportunities for it's members.
Each award is coordinated by a contact to encourage participation, oversee the
selection process, and the appropriate recognition of the different GACAA awards.

|
You work closely with your local newspaper editors and publishers, and
your radio and television stations.
You have an excellent opportunity to show them how much you appreciate
them by nominating them for the GACAA Mass Media Awards.
The Mass Media Awards are presented at the GACAA Annual Meeting-Professional
Improvement Conference.

The GACAA Professional Scholarships are supported by member contributions, scholarship
auction proceeds, Sunbelt Expo food booth sales and sponsorship by Georgia Farm Credit Association.
The GACAA First Timers Scholarship is for members employed less than 5 years
and planning on attending the next scheduled NACAA AM/PIC as a First Timer.
The GACAA Family Scholarship is for a child, spouse or grandchild of a GACAA
Active or Life member.
