Purpose:
To recognize GACAA members who conduct quality education programs and to give members the opportunity to participate in a quality professional development event.
Eligibility:
All members of GACAA, in good standing with the association may be considered for the Award by submitting a written summary of their Extension program in Conservation Tillage. An individual or county cannot enter in the year following a first place award. Winners will present program accomplishments at the GACAA Annual Meeting.
Entry and Judging Criteria:
Entry should not exceed four pages and should reflect program activities and accomplishments within the past three years. Judging of the entry will be based on

A letter from the entrant's immediate supervisor verifying the report is to be attached. Accessory supporting materials will not be considered. A one page listing of all supporting materials is allowed in addition to the four page report. This may be an individual entry or a county entry.
Award to be based on total County Conservation Tillage Educational Program: Meetings, field trips, newsletters, mass media, result demonstrations, etc.
Award:
Participants to be recognized at GACAA Annual Meeting and receive certificates and cash awards.
Recipients must attend GACAA Annual Meeting/Professional Improvement Conference to receive
awards, unless exempted by GACAA President because of extenuating circumstances. (Established
by GACAA Board action, November, 2008)
Cash Award:
First Place, $200; Second place, $100; Third Place, $75
